Reggae History Of
Could you explain to me Rastafari? His vision, doctrine, history. Do people still practice this?

Do people in Jamaica still practice this, or that believers are in the world. Is it only a few selective people of Jamaica or the whole country? I'm curious. Is it reggae music and Rastafari essential weeds? Who are the leaders and god / gods?

Rastafari is a religion based on belief that the Imperial Emperor Hailie Selassie (Ethiopia) is God. Emperor Selassie Ras Tafari was the title hence its follwers be known as Rastafarians. Religion was to fame in Jamaica in the 1930s and flourished after Emperor Selassie's visit to the country in 1966. It is now practiced all over the world. The principles basis of religion are similar to most popular religions in the world. Love one another and do everything possible to help others. Remains positive and honest in thoughts and actions. Rastafari is something Afro-Centric highlighting the Black God and always will portray Africa in a positive light. Africa, of course, being the birthplace of the creation is considered as the motherland. None of reggae music, or weeds are essential parts of religion. However most of the Rastafarians use ganja (weeds) as a sacrament. Reggae music is associated with Rastafarians because of Bob Marley the most famous Rastafarian, who also brought the Jamaican music in the world. Bob Marley is known worldwide as "The King of Reggae".
