What is the difference between ska and reggae?
Ok. I am old and out of touch, I guess. On a trip to Jamaica in the 1980s, I fell in love of the sound of reggae. Since then, I'll hear a song here and there and think "I like it. Well listen to some reggae." Then when I read review or that sort of thing, the song is touted as "ska". For me, 'ska' sounds like reggae. If someone and enlighten this old, is I appreciate it. Thank you!
Ska and reggae music are very similar. Ska music tends to have a faster pace than the pace and reggae. And many of ska will horns instead of reggae.
